The KIA Invitational Golf Tournament for 2018 will be held at the Pearl Country Club on Wednesday, June 27th. The beneficiary will be the Children's Discovery Center. More

information on sponsorships, donations, volunteers needed, etc. will come from the golf committee on a regular basis over the next few months.


KIA 2018 Membership Dues

Attached to this month's newsletter is the 2018 Membership Renewal Form. Membership dues have not increase; and there will continue to be two General Membership Meetings and two Networking Events in 2018, both at no cost to members. These benefits will also continue:

The Pacific Business News announced recently of their 2018 featured nonprofit search: Do you know and love a nonprofit that is working tirelessly to give back to the community? Would your nonprofit benefit from exposure to Hawaii's business elite? If so, nominate them to become one of the Pacific Business News 2018 Featured Nonprofits!

Each 2018 Event will feature one nonprofit whose mission aligns with the spirit of the event. That nonprofit will be able to share their message with the event audience and gain exposure in the following ways:

The Children’s Discovery Center will be having their KEIKI SWAP MEET on Saturday, November 18th. And if you need a place for your keiki to spend Black Friday, November 24th, check out KIDS DAY OUT for a safe and fun day. They are located at 111 Ohe Street. Call 524-5437 for details.



HCDA News

Announcement was made in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser on November 9th that HCDA's Executive Director Jesse Souki will be resigning as of November 30th after one year on the job. Board Chairman John Whalen is confident that HCDA will be able to fill the position. KIA thanks Jesse for what he has accomplished in the past year and wishes him the best in the future.
