KIA General Membership Meeting
The first General Membership Meeting in 2017 for the Kakaako Improvement Association was held on Wednesday, January 25th at the Ward Warehouse Kakaako Conference Room. A big Mahalo goes to Howard Hughes Corporation for providing the room for almost fifty attendees. The bento lunch was absolutely delicious (and huge) from Karen’s Kitchen, who also provided bottled water….Mahalo, Karen. The third very important person to be thanked was KIA Board member Peterson Rosario who video taped the meeting, took still pictures, and had the equipment ready for our two guest speakers to do a powerpoint presentation.
Steve Sullivan, KIA President, was the MC of the meeting and introduced Dr. Brennon Morioka, Deputy Executive Director for the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART), and Garrett Kamemoto, Community Outreach Officer for the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA). View the entire meeting above or on YouTube at https://youtu.be/j-k6UVJu1wk.
