5th Annual Kakaako Community Cleanup

In honor of Earth Day, the  Kakaako Improvement Association, Shidler Group, Howard Hughes Corporation, Kamehameha Schools, Totally Against Graffiti (T.A.G.), and the Building Owners and Managers Association Hawaii (BOMA) will hold a Community Cleanup on Saturday, May 14th from 8am to 11am. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Steve Sullivan at ssullivan@shidler.com or 532-4751. Cleaning, painting supplies and refreshments will be provided. There will be validated parking provided by Waterfront Plaza (entrance on Pohukaina Street).

The 2015 cleanup also collected donations for the Waianae Comprehensive Center. This year there will be a lightly-used or new Pots and Pans Drive for IHS. Drop off will be at Mother Waldron Park, Diamond Head side. KIA members can also bring any unwanted electronics, cell phones, printers or computers for an e-waste collection absolutely FREE, with drop off at Waterfront Plaza’s Diamond Head side.

KIA Networking Event DATE CHANGE

The next KIA Networking Event will be held Wednesday, June 15th (instead of May 25th) from 11:30am. A reminder notice will be in the May KIA newsletter but just wanted you to change your calendar.
