KIA Networking Event
Mahalo to the Honolulu Design Center for providing their Cupola Events Room for the first of two KIA Networking Events for 2015, which will be held from 11:30am on April 15th. As an added benefit, a special price of $20 for entree, ice tea, tax and gratuity, is being offered for lunch. There are three excellent choices: Bubu Arare-Crusted Salmon Salad, Stage Burger with Choice of Fries or Salad, or Kalbi Chicken Sandwich.
RSVP by Monday, April 13th, to Sherry Goya, KIA Executive Director, at sgoyallc@aol.com or 722-8487. All lunches will be pre-ordered, so there can be no cancellations; however, the order can be transferred or taken out. KIA members may also bring their own lunch and drink if they do not wish to order lunch.
KIA Community Event
The 4th Annual Kakaako Community Clean Up will be held on Saturday, April 18th, from 8am to 11am, with refreshments and validated parking. All supplies and tools will be provided. It will start at Mother Waldron Park and end at Restaurant Row (South Street). Donations will also be collected for the Waianae Comprehensive Center. They need canned good items and toiletries. Anyone wishing to volunteer or make a donation, should contact Steve Sullivan at ssullivan@shidler.com.
