The Kaka’ako Improvement Association (KIA) was formed in 1987 to be a forum for concerned Kaka’ako business owners to express their concerns, discuss their ideas, work out their differences, and speak with a strong unified voice on the complex issues that affect the area, such as zoning and land use, density, public safety, traffic and parking, housing, and improvement assessments.
Membership is open all year long to individuals, landowners and businesses who have a desire to keep abreast of what happens in Kaka’ako.
Annual dues are:
- $80 for Individuals or Businesses up to 20 employees
- $150 for Medium Businesses of 21 to 49 employees
- $200 for Large Businesses of 50 or more employees
